EDITED: DATE CHANGE TO MAY 16, 2020. We have been in the Hereford business for over 20 years. Our herd has improved and also grown in those 20 years. After much thought and consideration, Keith and I have decided it is time to disperse what we have and begin again. That being said, on May 2, 2020 we will sell our entire cow herd, except for a couple of donors that we own with other breeders and the old cows, open cows, or cows with other problems. So the ones selling will be the heart of our herd and our best. Many have asked us if we are getting out of the business. That answer is no, but we are cutting back and our herd will be smaller. Since all the kids are no longer home, we have less help and just don’t have the ability to run 200 plus cows. We are retaining all of the embryo calves born this spring and will be putting in embryos for next spring as well. Some of those calves will be sold as show heifers, and bull calves with be fed out for our bull buyers. The rest of the females will be retained in our herd.
